The Story of "Miss Molly"

"MISS MOLLY" was started in 1997 in Esbjerg  in Denmark by Hanne and Niels. The first shop was in an light industrial unit, but allready the year after the business moved into the high street in Esbjerg.

The most important thing in our business has always been service and quality. We have always tried to find the right dress for the right girl. A weddingday is the most important day in a girls life and everything has to be perfect.

We have over the years had many hundred satisfied customers. We have done many "silly" things to promote our business, but the best advertising has always been satisfied customers spreading our name to friends and family.

Our many shows has given us a lot of publicity in natioal newspapers and TV.

 

Once a year we have had the pleause of using the facilities of 
"DANA ANGLIA", which sails overnight betwen Esbjerg (Denmark) and Harwich (UK).
On these weekend cruises we used the whole ship to show our beautifull and romantic dresses. Ships and romance goes together and therefor the cruises on "DANA ANGLIA" was the perfect setting for our fashionshows.
The "DANA ANGLIA" had 1200 passengers onboard, when we arranged these cruises.

 

 

    

We have participated in several local fashionshows in Denmark where the bride is finishing the show.

 

 

For a whole month we turned a bank  into a wedding fair and showing 15 of our dresses.
The bankcustomers had an experince, they never had before of going to the bank.

 

 

     

We have also used shoppingcenters for showing our dresses. We had 2 brides walking round in all the shops and supermarkeds.

 

 

In the year 2000 "MISS MOLLY" expanded the busines in Denmark to 3 shops all in the high streets in 3 big cities in Denmark.

 
In 2005 we opened THE HOUSE OF MISS MOLLY in Copenhagen and now we are the leading shop in Denmark for promdresses, eveningdresses and cocktaildresses.
